Wallpaper has hired iD ad manager Charlotte Robinson to run a
restructured ad team in advance of the launch of Project Palma on 30
August.
Robinson effectively replaces Wallpaper publisher Alasdhair Willis, who
was promoted to publisher from ad director in December.
She previously worked on Emap's trade fashion magazines. Aside from her
UK responsibilities, Robinson will oversee Scandinavia, Spain and the
Benelux countries.
Wallpaper has also appointed two account managers - Pamela Arthurs and
Fiona Morgan, who is promoted from her previous role as sales
executive.
Arthurs was formerly fashion manager for Vanity Fair and assumes
additional responsibility for ad sales on No.1, the 350,000-distribution
contract title that goes to Selfridges account holders and affluent
homes in London and the north-west.
The first issue of the bi-annual No.1, which is published by sister
company Wink Media, carries 20 pages of ads, including Hugo Boss, Calvin
Klein, Chanel, Ralph Lauren and Estee Lauder.
Willis revealed fashion title Project Palma will carry the Wallpaper
branding and will launch as an additional issue of the magazine. It will
be sold throughout September and October.
Expected to reach around 360 pages, Palma will publish twice a year,
with a print run of 270,000 - 40,000 higher than Wallpaper.
Willis said Palma would feature high-street as well as designer fashion.
