Walker Media won the business after pitching against the incumbent, Carat, Mediaedge:cia and Media Planning Group.
It will work alongside its sister creative agency M&C Saatchi on developing Mandarin's "fans" campaign, which has used celebrities including Dame Helen Mirren to promote the hotels. Media activity will involve outdoor, print and online advertising.
Jill Kluge, the group director of brand communications at Mandarin Oriental, said: "The media proposals from Walker Media demonstrate its understanding of the Mandarin Oriental brand and we look forward to working with it as we continue to expand our portfolio of luxury hotels around the world."
Mandarin operates 20 luxury hotels with a further 17 in development in countries including Mexico and the US. Once the development plans are rolled out, it will have 16 hotels in Asia, 13 in North and South America and eight in Europe and North Africa.
