LONDON - Waitrose has rolled out a press campaign to illustrate that all of its in-store products can now be delivered for free.

The national press campaign, created by MCBD, goes live today and highights that all items on sale from local branches can be delivered. Previously products from the the Deli counter were not included as a delivery option.

Waitrose is currently the only online supermarket that does not charge for delivery. This applies to order made over £50.

Last week the supermarket chain announced that like-for-like sales had increased by 1.8%, with operating profit up 15.7%. However the interim results for John Lewis were less positive as the department store posted a dip. Sales for the same period (half ending1 August 2009) were down 4.7% with operating profit down 50.9%.
