Three products have been launched this week. There will be 22 products brought out this month and 40 more due out in April 2011.
The first products to have hit the shelves are three pies: beef, ale and kombu; roast chicken, ham and leek as well as spinach and three mushroom.
Blumenthal said: "We have had an enormous amount of fun developing the different products in the range and hope that it will offer a little something for everyone to taste and enjoy."
In March of this year Created by MCBD, the campaign’s TV ad featured the chefs giving a mini-cookery lesson using seasonal foods.
Waitrose currently has 234 branches and employs 42,429 people.
