VSO seeks marketers to improve lives in Africa and Asia

LONDON - International volunteer charity VSO is recruiting talented marketers who would rather promote HIV and AIDS messages in India or assess natural resource markets in Cambodia rather than flog FMCG products in the UK.

VSO seeks marketers to improve lives in Africa and Asia

The VSO has a number of short and long-term placements for people with communication and management skills. Volunteers are needed to help communities create marketable products from natural resources and sell them to raise vital funds for improving their community's infrastructure.

All VSO volunteer placements come with return flights, accommodation, local living allowance and full training and support.

Former marketing adviser Remi Thackrey volunteered two years in Kenya to train local business advice centre staff in marketing and business development. He assisted people to find and brand products, and market them in Kenya and abroad, providing a secure income for the community.

VSO is hosting an information day on Saturday 23 February for those interested in volunteering within the next 12 months. To register your interest click
