Vodafone links up with Kylie in SMS campaign

Vodafone is offering its customers the chance to win tickets to see Kylie Minogue in concert, in a two-tier push designed to support its sponsorship of Kylie's Fever tour and to encourage consumers to keep their phones switched on.

Every week until the end of March, Vodafone will call existing customers at random, giving them a pair of tickets if they answer their phones.

Vodafone users sending any text message before the end of this month will also be entered into a prize draw to win tickets.

All the weekly winners will also be entered into a grand prize draw to win a trip to meet the diminutive star backstage at her concert in Paris.

Vodafone is supporting the push with a direct mailing to more than 13 million customers, POP materials in Vodafone Retail and other leading phone outlets, competitions on the Vodafone and Vizzavi websites, and sampling at the venues on Kylie's UK tour.
