Vodafone embarks on next stage of campaign

Vodafone is embarking on the next stage of its 'How are you?' brand campaign with a 拢7.5m drive breaking today (Wednesday). The 60-second ad, 'Stepping Out', features characters from around the world including an American cowboy, an Italian music teacher and a Japanese DJ getting ready for the day ahead. Some of the characters initially forget to take their mobiles with them and have to go back for them because their phones are something they cannot live without. The ad was created by WCRS and will be followed by two further executions, 'Lost in thought' and 'Flirting', that break in mid-August to promote text messaging. Media is by OMD UK.

All three ads will initially run in the UK, but Vodafone is considering rolling them out overseas.
