V.me by Visa to sponsor 2015's Cosmopolitan #FashFest

Hearst media brand Cosmopolitan has announced the return of its #FashFest consumer event, with Visa Europe's digital wallet service, V.me, onboard as headline sponsor.

V.me by Visa will offer guests exclusive offers and incentives throughout the five-day event in London. The brand has stated that the partnership will provide it with a platform to work alongside key fashion and beauty retailers, as well as access to a new target market.

Other brands signed up to for #FashFest include ASOS, Boohoo, H&M, Next, River Island and Ted Baker.

The sartorial event will take place from 14 September at various venues throughout London. The first evening will see One Marylebone host The Lingerie Show, which will feature a catwalk show, canapés, champagne, cocktails and beauty treatments.

Battersea Evolution will stage the week's headline event, Catwalk to Cosmopolitan Fashion Show, on 17 September. The live runway show will feature the latest high-street trends that attendees will be able to purchase immediately from the retailers.

Wendy Martin, executive director of V.me by Visa, said: "Our sponsorship of #FashFest enables us to unite Cosmopolitan's fashion conscious audience, a large proportion of whom are millennials and therefore early adopters of new technologies, with some of the UK's leading fashion brands to deliver a better online shopping experience."

"Cosmopolitan will bring the brand to life beyond the magazine and provide young women with the ultimate fashion experience and exclusive access to some of the best-loved fashion brands in the country."
