Vizeum hires M&B's Andrews for top strategy role

LONDON - Matt Andrews, currently a managing partner at Michaelides & Bednash, is joining the board of Vizeum UK as head of strategy.

Andrews has worked at M&B since 1997 and has worked on the agency’s flagship Channel 4 account. He was responsible for launch campaigns for 'Big Brother', 'Warhol', coverage of Test Match Cricket and digital channels FilmFour and E4.

Andrews joins Vizeum UK -- formerly known as BBJ -- at the beginning of September.

"Matt brings new skills and experience to our existing teams," said Trista Grant, managing director of Vizeum UK. "He will add a new dimension to the way we look at the relationship between brands and consumers, and will allow us to develop the resources we need to deliver connection planning to our clients."

Vizeum is the Aegis Group's second-string media network and launched on July 1.
