The company, which has sponsored the BOA since 1986 and the Paralympic Games since 2002, said the move was part of its continuing financial support for Britain's elite sports men and women, and the athletes attending the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.
Simon Clegg, chief executive of the BOA, said: "Visa UK has been a great partner of the BOA and British athletes for many years and we are pleased that this agreement will take the support they offer a step further."
The BOA appointed Mark Zimmer, former head of appeals, as director of corporate partnerships in November.
Visa UK has not revealed how much additional sponsorship it is providing for the BOA.
