The financial-services brand, which has sponsored the games since 1986, was recently unveiled as the , giving it image rights to the British Olympic team.
The extended sponsorship covers both Summer and Winter Olympics. London 2012 is followed by a Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, in 2014 and a Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016. Rio was chosen as the host of the 2016 Games earlier this month, when it saw of competition from US favourite Chicago.
The host countries for the 2018 and 2020 Games are yet to be decided.
