Visa Europe hires Colin Clarke for senior marketing role

LONDON - Visa Europe has appointed former Leagas Delaney managing director Colin Clarke as its senior vice-president for brand management.

Clarke, whose most recent position was as director of consumer marketing at clothing brand Levi's Europe, will be responsible for all Visa Europe's brand communications, including advertising, promotions and digital marketing.

The marketer has previously worked as global head of advertising at Vodafone, where he headed consumer and business campaigns across 32 countries, and was behind the mobile operator's 'Make the most of now' ad campaign. 'Visa is an iconic brand and I'm excited to get the opportunity to help in its development,' said Clarke.

Mariano Dima, executive vice-president for marketing at Visa Europe, added: 'Colin brings with him a wide range of marketing experience and his appointment will help us reinforce the Visa brand as integral to people's lives.'
