Virgin Trains develops animated ad

Virgin Trains has developed an animated ad that forms part of the trial of Viacom's Cross Track Projection running on London Underground. The ad, which breaks on April 8 at Euston tube station, shows a cartoon-character man and then a woman at a beach. The creative then morphs to show the woman and a man-shaped dotted line with a blank white space and the line: 'Pity you couldn't make it'. The ad forms part of Virgin Trains' wider 'Miss that, miss out' campaign to promote its 'value' tickets, offering cheaper advance booking fares. It has been created by new media specialist Glue London and represents the agency's first broadcast communications work. Media is by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
