Virgin signs promo deal with SeaFrance

French ferry operator SeaFrance has signed a deal with Virgin Radio for a tailor-made hen and stag do promotion, on the Christian O'Connell breakfast show.

The campaign, which runs for a week from 19 June, will see Christian O'Connell and a member of his breakfast team compete head to head on northern France-themed tasks, with each dressed up as a hen and a stag.

Each day, two listeners will go on-air to support the hen or the stag, with the winning listener and a group of friends whisked off for a French stag or hen weekend, courtesy of SeaFrance.

Sarah Staughton, head of marketing at SeaFrance, said: "We wanted an attention-grabbing promotion to bring the northern France and SeaFrance experience to life and to encourage people to try it for themselves.

"Virgin Radio is a proven expert at generating great branded content and can deliver a key national audience for us to connect with."
