Rosencrantz will continue to be responsible for Living's programming and strategic development but in addition will take a strategic creative role across Virgin Media Television's entire portfolio of entertainment channels.
She will report directly to Virgin Media Television's managing director Jonathan Webb, who said: "As we develop our emerging mix of pay, free and on-demand content, it's time for the channels to work more closely together. Claudia is simply one of the most talented creative leaders in British television, and I can't think of a better person to oversee the portfolio with her unique brand or brilliant creativity and intelligent pragmatism."
Celia Taylor, director of programmes for Bravo, Challenge and Trouble will report to Rosencrantz as part of the new structure.
In her previous role as director of programmes, Rosencrantz was responsible for revitalising Living and her influence brought a raft of new commissions to the channel including 'Abbey and Janice: Beauty and the Best', featuring model Abbey Clancey and Janice Dickinson and 'Dirty Cows' starring Tara Palmer-Tompkinson.
Prior to joining Virgin Media Television, Rosencrantz spent over a decade at ITV where she was responsible for more than 500 hours of primetime entertainment for the network each year. Her hits include 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Here', 'X Factor', 'Dancing on Ice' and 'Pop Idol'.
