Virgin Media appoints director of television

LONDON - Virgin Media Television has appointed Claudia Rosencratz to the newly created role of director of television.

Rosencratz joined the broadcaster as director of programmes for LIVING in April 2006, after ten years at ITV where she was controller of entertainment.

Rosencratz will continue to be responsible for LIVING's programming and strategic direction, and will take on a strategic creative role across the entire portfolio of entertainment channels. She will report to managing director Jonathan Webb.

Celia Taylor, director of programmes for Bravo, Challenge and Trouble will report to Rosencratz under the new structure.
