The five metre-tall sculpture – dubbed Citihenge – was made entirely from recycled car parts and was specially commissioned to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new Citigo model.
Agency Sketch Events was behind the project, working with sculptor Tommy Gun and PR agency Taylor Herring.
It took Sketch’s design team three months and 18 scrap cars to make. The whole structure weighed a huge 36 tonnes.
The sculpture will next appear at Goodwood Festival in West Sussex from 28 June – 1 July.
Gun said: "The Citihenge project has been the most amazing challenge. Stonehenge is a huge, iconic structure and the Citihenge replica is too. It is made entirely from old car parts, which taps into my own childhood growing up on a farm where I used to love building and creating things with pieces of discarded machinery."
