Video: Budweiser to feature Beatles track in latest TV spot

LONDON - Diageo Ireland is launching a new Budweiser campaign featuring a cover version of the Beatles' 1969 track, 'All Together Now'.

The ad, by DDB London, is shot from a moving train carriage in Chicago and shows people spelling out the words ‘All together now' in time to the music, sung by The Hours, who are currently supporting U2 on tour.

The TV and cinema campaign, called ‘Lyrics', breaks on 10 July in Ireland, but can be seen in the UK from 4 July on Sky Sports One during the final British and Irish Lions test against South Africa, and subsequently across Sky's TV channels.

The ad is the first to utilise Green Button technology in Ireland, while the campaign will be backed by a dedicated microsite, www.alltogethernow.ie.

‘In this day and age, it's critical that brands entertain and capture people's imagination. This campaign is about Budweiser getting back to its roots; a timeless brand truth, simply told in a timely way,' said Garbhan O'Bric, head of marketing communications at Diageo Ireland.
