
The 'Meet the Widow' party will be held on 28 October, and will mark the 150th anniversary of Madame Clicquot’s death in 1866, Champagne’s most emblematic woman, who is credited with bringing her husband's business to fruition.
Paying homage to the iconic widow, Australasia’s bar and terrace will be transformed into a gothic wonderland, with haunting masquerade masks, Halloween-inspired Champagne glasses and customised Veuve Clicquot Magnums.
Champagne-sippers will also be handed a secret card on the evening, with the chance to win either a glass or a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
The Champagne maker previously staged a takover at the venue in August.
