What’s it got? The bar closed in early January for refurbishment and reopened last Wednesday (25 January). The old décor has been striped back and replaced with oak panelling, leather banquette seating and velvet furnishings, giving it a homely feel. The are several smaller spaces for hire, like The Little Lounge that can seat up to 30 people for cosy tête-à-têtes, but the main attraction is The 80-capacity Private Room, tucked away at the back of the bar behind a velvet curtain. When used in its entirety the bar can hold 300 guests standing.
Anything else? Another new addition is a small oak-panelled covered terrace with heating overlooking the Private Room.
