Show manager Joseph Davies is already planning the next event, scheduled to take place on 7-8 September 2015.
He said the new venue will "be the perfect way to showcase the potential and growth that a show like The Venue Expo has in this part of the UK."
Due to open spring next year, Exhibition Centre Liverpool will be integrated with ACC Liverpool, home to the BT Convention Centre and the Echo Arena, increasing the available floor space from 7,125sqm to 15,225sqm.
Today (2 September) is the final day of the inaugural show at Manchester's EventCity. The event, organised by marketing and events company UKFE, is aimed at MICE industry professionals, as well as representatives from venues, suppliers and service providers.
