VCCP wins Carbon Trust creative brief

VCCP has won the first creative shoot-out for the Carbon Trust and has become the lead agency for the government-funded body in the process.

It picked up the brief after beating roster shops Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and WCRS.

The brief, to create a branding campaign that raises the profile of the Carbon Trust, is worth around £12 million.

It is the first piece of business to come up for grabs since the trust compiled a roster of agencies in January.

VCCP will mastermind a 12-month campaign, principally aimed at promoting the varied services the Carbon Trust provides.

Ian Priest, the founding partner of VCCP, said: "Carbon emissions are a really hot topic at the moment, and the Carbon Trust is the lead business brand in that area."

The trust finished its roster in January, following a protracted statutory review process that included Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson and Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy.
