The agency, which pitched as VCCP Blue, its creative entrepreneurial offering, scooped the business following a pitch against Albion, Euro RSCG London, Fallon and WCRS. The process was handled by ISBA.

Coors Light previously used The Leith Agency to handle its advertising account.

The agency had worked on the brand since 2003, with its most recent campaign being a TV ad featuring two geeky friends performing a rap that celebrated Coors’ light taste. Leith did not repitch for the business.

Media planning and buying for Coors Light is currently handled by ZenithOptimedia, which was appointed to oversee the account last November, following a wider pitch for the Molson Coors business.

The advertising agencies working on other brands in the Coors portfolio, which includes Carling, Grolsch, Cobra and Singha Beer, are unaffected by the appointment.
