The Roof Gardens’ head gardener, David Lewis, has been brought in to design the space to reflect the original venue.
It will be built in Virgin Media’s VIP enclosure, the Louder Lounge, the main entrance featuring a bridge between two fountains, recreating the water feature in the London venue.
There will also be a red Moroccan Berber-style marquee, palm trees, and an English Woodland Garden. Even the club’s famous flamingos will be represented in a "fun way" say organisers.
The Roof Gardens is part of the Virgin Limited Edition collection, owned by Sir Richard Branson.
"This year’s V Festival is set to be bigger and more exciting than ever with a fantastic line up that includes Eminem, Arctic Monkeys and Rihanna. Virgin has a fantastic music heritage, so it’s great to combine the Roof Gardens and the Louder Lounge like this at the festival," he said.
V Festival takes place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on the 20 and 21 August.
