US Postal Service appoints Leo Burnett

- The United States Postal Service have appointed Leo Burnett, Chicago as their lead agency to oversee their $140 million advertising account following a long running review.

The account was previously held by FCB Worldwide in New York who will continue to handle the direct mail and interactive marketing.

Frankel in Chicago retains the in-store and point -of-sale marketing for the USPS and Bravo, New York will continue to handle Hispanic marketing. Another Chicago based agency, DraftWorldwide has been dropped completely.

Media planning and buying will be handled by MediaCom, New York while the fate of Asian and African American marketing duties are yet to be decided.
