
Bell, who is currently studying at the university’s Business School, was awarded with a graduate job at events agency Bluehat Group. She will begin her new role of account executive in June.
The third-year student beat 14 other finalists to the prize at the Eventice finals in London last week (1-3 March).
The candidates were tasked with a number of Apprentice-style challenges, such as writing a pitch for an event in Rio de Janeiro, devising a viral marketing campaign for The Shard and giving a talk about a personal passion. They also had to complete a scavenger hunt - tracking down obscure items within a fixed time limit.
Hanya Pielichaty, senior lecturer and programme leader for the BSc (Hons) Events Management programme at the University of Lincoln, said: "The Events Management degree is only in its fourth year so to win a competition like this is an amazing achievement for both Victoria and our degree course.
"We had every confidence in Victoria and she has made both the staff and students within the Events and Tourism subject group very proud. We wish Victoria the very best with her future employee."
Bell added: "Overall it was a pretty intense experience, but I've met some amazing people who I hope to stay in touch with. I'm still finalising the details with Bluehat, but I will be their new account executive come June."
