UM wins Carbon Trust's £4m consolidated media work

Through the win, Universal McCann, which now prefers to call itself UM, retains its previously held press, radio and TV duties, and will add digital, search and outdoor work, previously held by Carat.

Peter Hambly, director of marketing and communication at the Carbon Trust, said the change will be effective from April.

The Carbon Trust was set up by the Government in 2001 to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy, by working with organisations to reduce carbon emissions and develop commercial low carbon technologies.

Earlier this week, UM announced the promotion of three senior executives to the new positions of group business directors across its brand teams.

Rob Bellass, Owen Lewis and Tony Mattson take on the new roles with the aim of boosting client management and strategic leadership.
