The appointment comes ahead of an expansion of the specialist's UK services, following its recent purchase by Spanish healthcare company Corporacion Dermoestetica.
The agency has been briefed to revamp the company's communications.
Ultralase is the UK's biggest commercial eye surgery specialist. Its ads, created by Principle, feature the former triple-jump world champion Jonathan Edwards standing near northern landmarks.
More recently an ad for its medical cosmetics business, showing a naked woman, triggered several complaints, although none was upheld.
