The Ultimate Experience has opened a marquee at Kew Gardens for event organisers following a successful planning application granted by the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. The Palace Pavilion is in its second year as a summer venue and available until the end of September. It already has 25 events confirmed. Last year 33 were booked in its 400-seat space. Ultimate Experience managing director Sam Gill said: “The recent licensing law changes have heightened local awareness of events activity and interest in these applications. There are still many long-term marquee installations in breach of the planning regulations, but it is best to face these issues head-on.”
