The two-day Monopoly at the Square event will see the landmark transformed into a real-life version of the iconic Hasbro board game. Passers-by will be invited to stop off and complete a lap of the Monopoly installation, as well as snap a selfie in front of it.
The new London Games Festival (LGF) is taking place from 1-10 April, and will see a total of 15 events take place at 10 venues across the city.
Somerset House is hosting Now Play This, which will include gaming focused talks, workshops and an exhibition about games from 1-3 April, meanwhile the Games Finance Market (5-7 April) aims to help individuals secure finance for their gaming projects.
LGF at BFI talks are scheduled to take place in partnership with BFI Southbank on 4 April, and The London Games Festival Fringe will run alongside the main event.
The festival forms part of Games London, a new initiative from Film London and gaming trade body Ukie, which is supported by the Mayor of London - in January it was announced that the government was investing £1.2m into the programme.
