Local radio group UKRD has acquired search engine optimisation specialist Netrank for an undisclosed sum.
UKRD owns stations such as Pirate FM and Star 107 FM, while Netrank specialises in natural search and, increasingly, in website development.
The firms have worked together before on the launch of free classified website, itsmymarket.com.
UKRD promoted the site on its stations. It is designed to give consumers the opportunity to buy and sell items, read local news, check a calendar of events and upload their local organisation's website free of charge.
