- UK mail order giant, JD Williams, has split its £10 million ($16.5 million) media planning and buying account between two Manchester based agencies, Media Vision and the Media Business North.
The account was previously held by Carat Direct Manchester and the account's move brings to an end a relationship stretching back ten years.
Media Vision, part of the MacManus owned MediaVest network, will take on responsibility for the customer and merchandise recruitment campaigns while TMBN will handle the two stage catalogue advertising campaigns for several brands.
JD Williams is one of the UK's largest direct response press advertisers with brands including Fashion World, Shoe Tailor and Classic Combination along with at least 50 others.
