The show was launched as a rival event to , which takes place from 10-12 May at Excel London.
UBM Live stated that the economic crisis has affected the higher end of the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom market, and this was why KBB London could not go ahead.
"The decision to postpone KBB London is disappointing, but we want to put on the best and most representative exhibition showcase we can and the current market conditions are hindering our progress to achieve that," said UBM Live group director Andy Braid.
UBM Live's KBB Birmingham event will continue, with the next show set to take place in 2010.
KBB Birmingham takes place in alternate years to KBB Review Expo.
