Monday will see the launch of the "Give a few bob" ads on the underside of fold-down seats in 250 London taxis, which will be in place for four weeks.
Footage of Monkhouse, who died of the cancer in 2003, has been edited and modified for a television campaign to look as if he is talking about his own illness and encouraging other men to be more aware of the disease.
Andrew Barnett, managing director of Ubiquitous said his company was happy to support "such an important campaign".
"It's a real call to action for taxi passengers who ride in the 250 cabs over the month and we hope that people will react to the shock tactic creative," he said.
