Twinings’ new TV ad features a set crafted almost entirely from teabags and is set to Sophia Loren’s Bing! Bang! Bong! song from Houseboat. Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO was responsible for the jolly affair, which opens on a woman being whisked away to a happy-go-lucky world of teabags, blooming flowers and chirping birds after taking a sip of her morning brew. The campaign aims to get people to start their day right – ie. with a cup of Twinings English Breakfast. It was written by Toby Allen, art directed by Jim Hilson and directed by Parabella through Blinkink.
