Twenty Twenty Media Vision was appointed following a three-way contest which involved the incumbent agency WFCA and one other unnamed agency.
Carpetright and Sleepright spent £7.8m on non-broadcast in the 12 months to the end of December 20009. The £2m radio and TV buying is held by independent regional agency Brilliant and is unaffected.
Caron Grant, head of marketing at Carpetright, said: "Twenty Twenty Media Vision will provide us with a skilled creative and media hub from which we can determine how best to apply our marketing communications."
Jones formed Twenty Twenty Media Vision after leaving his role as media director at full service marketing agency WFCA. Jones said: "To land such a major retail account within six months of opening our doors is testament to the experience and knowledge of our team."
Carpetright acquired Sleepright, a beds retailer which operated concessions in 94 of its shops, in 2008.
Other Twenty Twenty Media Vision clients include the resurrected Zavvi.com, online film, games and DVD store Thehut.com, internet casino JackpotCity and internet card company Purple Hoot.
