TV ads breaking for Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes

Buyers of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes are to be portrayed as obsessives in a burst of six TV ads for the brand breaking on April 1. In the first 20-second ad, by J Walter Thompson, a group of girls are having a night in, hovering around the television set watching a nature programme and munching on snacks. When the presenter describes his revolting lancing of a gruesome swelling, all the girls stop eating in disgust save one who is tucking in to her bowl of the cereal. In a second ad, a businessman cuts in front of his queueing colleagues at the company canteen and walks off with a giant serving of Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes. The campaign will run throughout the year and will incorporate press and radio ads.
