TV ad campaign for Virgin Radio

Virgin Radio urges listeners to 'Wake up with someone different' in

a TV ad campaign promoting its breakfast show host Steve Penk, the

former Capital Radio presenter who has replaced Chris Evans. The ad,

which continues the 'Sausage Dog' campaign launched by Mustoe Merriman

Levy in the spring, shows the canine star waking up in his basket with a

number of different partners. Called 'Dirty Dog', the 30-second ad

breaks this Sunday and will run for three weeks around programmes

including Take Me, Coronation Street and Cold Feet, as well as the F1

Grand Prix coverage and The Premiership. A cinema campaign breaks on

August 17 and will run for four weeks. Media is planned and bought by

Starcom Motive.
