Turner secures trio of Nuts TV deals

Turner Media Innovations has sealed a trio of commercial partnerships for Nuts TV, including a new sponsor for its Shed Sports strand.

WKD, Beverage Brands' alcopop drinks brand, will become the partner for the Shed Sports strand from 3 March.

The show will be retitled the WKD Shed Sports Show and be extended from a 10-minute strand to a 30-minute programme.

During the show, Geoff Norcott and sports pundits take a look at the hot topics in the day's sporting world. The show's presenters will also appear in pre-roll ads online on both the Nuts and WKD websites.

Turner has also concluded deals with film companies Momentum and Fox to promote their forthcoming movies.

The channel's presenters will talk about some of these studios' films, while also flagging online competitions around them. The campaigns will also be supported in Nuts magazine.

Nuts TV, a joint venture between IPC and Turner Broadcasting Systems, was launched in September 2007. The channel is available via Freeview and Sky.
