Turkey of the week: Vodafone "Mr Interruption" by Ogilvy & Mather London

Emily Tan feels let down by this ad.

If you’ve gone through the trouble of paying for the bumbling, well-intentioned comedic genius of Martin Freeman, why not actually make the ad funny? The scriptwriting has all the subtlety of an 80s radio shampoo ad. Free data roaming is a great thing – there was no need to be ham-fisted about it.
