Tuborg in music link with O'Neill's

Tuborg, the lager brand owned by Carlsberg, has joined forces with pub chain O'Neill's in a bid to boost its association with music.

The brewer has been building Tuborg's support of live music since its UK launch last year, and has switched the sponsorship and pouring rights for Glastonbury from Carlsberg to Tuborg.

Under the two-month promotion, drinkers who buy a pint of Tuborg at an O'Neill's will be entered into a draw for a chance for their pub to host the Tuborg Hometown Festival.

The event in September will be headlined by guitar band Scouting For Girls, supported by singer-songwriter Sam Isaac and four-piece outfit The Rushes.

Two further support slots are open to up-and-coming bands, who will compete for a spot in regional heats.
