The pop-up will match shoppers' favourite scent to a hand-made vessel, which will then be etched with initials or a unique design to make something entirely individual.
True Grace will be showcasing its 'Bespoke' range of fragrances at the pop-up. The experience has been brought to life by artist Alex Whitehill, who has designed a window display which can be seen at the John Lewis store.
The window display takes the shape of a fantastical machine that would combine memories and emotions, bending them to make the perfect gift. The device extends out of the John Lewis window and into the pop-up where the etching machine and True Grace products can be found. The pop-up will remain open until 24 December.
Roger Biles, co-founder of True Grace, said: "Perfume is strongly associated with memory and emotions and a particular scent can transport us to a place in the country, back home, or to recollections of childhood. Equally, fragrance helps create future memories for events and occasions such as a wedding or birthday. ‘The Perfect Gift Maker’ is a completely new experience, which we hope enables people to capture an evocative memory in fragrance. It has been given pride of place in John Lewis, Oxford Street and we hope our bespoke offering will be a big hit this Christmas."
