Trinity teams with retail giant for promo

LONDON - Trinity Mirror outdoor advertising arm Echo Outdoor has teamed up with shopping centre Liverpool One to promote the centre ahead of its opening.

A month-long competition to find stylish professionals in Liverpool launches this week, and will be promoted by Trinity Mirror North West and North Wales, with media booked by Manchester-based agency MediaVest. The first shops in Liverpool One will open for business on 29 May.

As part of the campaign, 30 cabs in and around Liverpool city centre will be branded with artwork, driving competition entrants and website users to www.liverpool-one.com. Cab drivers will also hand out branded receipts.

Digital units will promote the competition along key walkways in Liverpool city centre, and print advertising will appear in the Liverpool.com magazine, that has a monthly circulation of 33,000 copies.
