Trinity Mirror unveils TV and football titles for Saturday's Mirror

Trinity Mirror's attempts to revive its flagging Daily Mirror title will begin on Saturday with the launch of two new supplements.

Mirror Football Confidential and We Love Telly!, a TV news and listings magazine, will replace the two Saturday supplements dropped by the group's chief executive, Sly Bailey, last month.

Spearheaded by Phil Hall, the Trinity Mirror editorial development director for national newspapers, the titles are an attempt to recover share lost to The Sun.

Mirror FC, a 16-page colour supplement, will be produced by the Daily Mirror's existing sports team, while We Love Telly!, a 56-page glossy magazine, will be edited by the former Loaded and Chat editor, Keith Kendrick.

The two titles replace M magazine and the Daily Mirror's listings title, The Look.
