Tribune launches T as an international

The International Herald Tribune is launching an international edition of T, the fashion magazine distributed with The New York Times.

The magazine will be unveiled at a conference in Moscow in November. It will have its own editor, but will share some content with the American version.

It will be periodically distributed with the Tribune, in line with the fashion, style and designs seasons.

It will carry high-end luxury advertising specifically for the European and Middle Eastern markets, which will be sold by the Tribune's sales team. T's US editor Stefano Tonchi will write a column for the magazine, as will the Tribune's fashion editor Suzy Menkes.

The New York Times Magazine, which includes T, had more advertising pages than any other in the US last year, according to the Publishers' Information Bureau.
