Tribal DDB to take VW Beetle Cabriolet on summer tour

LONDON - Interactive agency Tribal DDB is to promote the VW Beetle Cabriolet this summer by taking a convoy of the cars on tour to nine UK cities.

In partnership with publisher Conde Nast's websites and , the aim is to publicise the tour to the female fashion-conscious audience. will also be used to encourage residents and visitors in the tour cities to come and see the new car.

Both publishers have added bespoke content to the ads. Time Out has produced a city guide for each of the tour cities and Conde Nast has created a fashion feature where users can select a new Beetle Cabriolet in their favourite colour.

The Conde Nast and Time Out sites drive traffic through to the Beetle Cabriolet content on the Volkswagen UK and a , produced by Special Moves, which will feature tour info and a prize draw to win one of the cars.

Glamour and Vogue subscribers will receive two email newsletters promoting the tour, which takes place in June and July, and will stop at Glasgow and Edinburgh, Bath, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Leeds, London and Manchester.

The microsite will host a competition to win a two-week driving holiday, worth 拢6,000, in one of the new models to the west coast of the USA.
