Tri-Direct wins Westbury's consolidated media task

LONDON - Westbury, the house building company, is consolidating its entire media planning and buying account into direct response media independent Tri-Direct and is increasing the value of the work to around 拢4m a year.

The agency was appointed in 2001 to manage buying across seven Westbury regions -- Central, Southern, Northhampton, Nottingham, West Midlands, North West and South Wales. In 2002, Westbury acquired Prowting Homes, which added two new regions to the company's reach -- South East and South West. Following an undisclosed review, all media planning and buying for all of the sales regions will be handled through Tri-Direct.

The media push will consist of direct mail, press outdoor and radio, targeting 40 counties in England and Wales. Tri-Direct has been briefed to identify and target prospective homebuyers around each of Westbury's new home developments.

Sarah Oliver, Westbury's marketing manager, said: "Tri-Direct has been instrumental in changing the way we buy media, focusing more on creating awareness and targeting."

Tri-Direct is a media independent within the direct marketing, finance and retail sectors in the UK. It was founded in 1989.
