Travelodge promotes new King's Cross hotel

Travelodge is putting a replica of one of its rooms on wheels in the run-up to Christmas, to promote its new hotel in London's King's Cross.

The ambient media campaign will feature two volunteers lying on a bed in the room as it tours London, communicating messages about price and booking details. Travelodge is offering guests at the King's Cross hotel a sightseeing tour of London in the 'room', with a professional guide.

Travelodge is also using radio promotions, online banners, posters, 'footsteps' in King's Cross station, and ads on vans, scooters and phone kiosks to promote the lodge. The campaign was devised by Mediaedge:cia, together with Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper Partners and PR agency Cohn & Wolfe.
