Travelodge poaches senior Camelot marketer

LONDON - Travelodge has appointed Daniel Heale, former head of media and marketing at National Lottery operator Camelot, as marketing and sales director.

Heale joins the Travelodge executive management team with immediate effect, reporting to Guy Parsons, chief operating officer.

In his new role, Heale will be responsible for directing Travelodge's marketing, e-commerce and sales strategies.

Heale spent five and a half years with Camelot in a number of senior marketing roles. In his most recent role, Heale was responsible for the delivery of £4.2bn worth of annual revenue across six National Lottery brands including Lotto and EuroMillions.
