KFC has appointed David Timm as its UK and Ireland marketing chief to replace Jennelle Tilling, who will take up the chief marketing officer position at KFC parent company Yum! Restaurants International. ()

Jeff Dodds, the chief marketing officer of Virgin Media, is to leave the cable and TV provider in early 2014, after helping the business integrate into Liberty Global. As part of the restructure Virgin Media outlined last week, Dodds will leave the company alongside Jon James, the executive director of broadband, and Graeme Oxby, the executive director of home phone and mobile. ()

Just Eat has promoted Lucy Milne to the newly created post of UK marketing director. ()

Channel 4 has hired Matt Rennie, the enterprise director at Global Radio, as the managing director of Box Television, replacing Gidon Katz. ()

Fishburn Hedges has appointed David Skelton, former deputy director of think-tank Policy Exchange, as a senior adviser. ()

Santander UK has hired Lanson's former deputy head of public affairs Chris Bose as it aims to become more "relationship-focused". ()
